I failed... sad day

I knew I wasn't going to be able to post pictures everyday. Most days when I come home from work or on vacation I avoid the computer like the plague since I'm on it all the time. Lots of pictures to post on the blog but don't feel like uploading them. Good night for now.

Yay it's Christmas and I'm having a ton of fun with my family! I love them!

Christmas!

I decided to make marshmallows. I'm nuts but I've been craving them and wanted to make some. Hopefully these come out okay. (from the not ready yet batter, they didn't taste too bad but really sweet). Yay Christmas!

3 years old!

My lil guy is 3 years old today! This will probably seem like a lame post because it's about my dog, but I don't have kids and I consider this little guy my kid. I've gone through almost everything with him. We went through the ups and downs of his puppy days and now his larger days. Winston is the first dog that I've actually known his birthday. On the day he was born my sister was getting texts and pictures him and his brothers and sisters. I knew I wanted a dog because I wanted protection so I knew I wanted one of the puppies. Winston was the largest in the litter and was also/ and is VERY cute. I was very excited to bring him home! With the help from my mom, dad, Jorge, and Nellie we were able to potty train him. He's also really good with other tricks. I love my little guy and I'm glad I have him to come home to. Anyway, Happy Birthday Winston. (obviously he can't read but whatever)

This morning has not started off well at all. It has put me in the poopiest mood. Bleah anyway I hope the rest of the day goes well.

Only sometimes

There are moments when I absolutely love my job. Like today, I was talking to a parent who wanted to know the status of their student's application. Luckily I was able to share that they were accepted which the mom was excited about. But then I told her about his scholarship that he'll be receiving. The reaction I got, you would have assumed she won the lottery, she was so excited! Those are fun moments that I have. That completely replaced the negative of having my computer looked at forever. (I'm thankful though that the issue is now resolved so I have no complaints on that). This picture obviously has nothing to do with my post but I miss this little guy along with the rest of my family. I'm so excited I get to be with them this week! Yay!!

It's oh so quiet! Shh Shh

After a friend of mine posted that as their status, I've had that stupid song in my head. NOT A FAN, but it fit my post today so whatevs.

This is how I like the office. It's quiet and we had no visitors today! I was able to get a lot done today which was very exciting. 2 more days in the office and I'm off for Christmas holiday! So excited to spend time with my family!!

I'm a Nerd but shh!

I actually turned on my xbox to play a game tonight. It's been about 2 1/2 months since I turned it on for that. (I'm kind of proud of myself) Okay that's all about the xbox.

This is just for my sisters: I bought three Nicki Minaj songs so get ready to be serenaded by ME! :)

There's no place like home!

I bought these shoes for myself and it hit me that my niece and I have the same shoes. I'm only WAY older than she is! awkward! I'm also not doing well with my year project. It's going to be tough whenever I travel to post a picture.

Pink!

This is what Winston looks like every time I give him a bath. He's going to be staying at his Tia Sarai and Uncle Eric's house this weekend so of course he had to be extra clean cause that would be embarrassing to take a stinky dog to their house. The good thing about him is that he doesn't mind baths so much. I can walk away from the bathroom for a couple of minutes and he's still in the tub. (I tested this last night because I ended up having to change into my bathing suit) Winston is a pretty easy dog because he LOVES going to the vet and LOVES car rides which make taking him places easy. We still need to work on his behavior though.

Day 2 Success!!

So a few weeks ago I was given the assignment to take pictures of an elementary school's mascot around our campus. Well, I took the pictures and had some of my student workers take pictures and made it into this nice little flip book. I got the book today in the mail and I'm so excited to finally mail this off! It was a fun project because I got to be creative.

SECOND!

Okay I'm posting twice in one day which I'm pretty sure will be very rare. Since I have nothing really interesting to post I decided I'm going to copy one ofmy friends and post a picture everyday for the next 365 days. (Sorry Cait, not trying to copy you) Hopefully I can post a picture everyday, we'll see once travel starts picking up again. I'm going to start my picture project today except this time I have more than one picture.

This past weekend, I had a pretty busy one! Part of my adventures consisted of visiting the Texas White House. I love history and national parks and have been to the LBJ Ranch several times but this time I was able to see LBJ's house which was pretty exciting!

I didn't really take too many pictures because I was nervous that it wasn't going to be allowed. We already broke the rules before so I didn't want to break another one.

As a sidenote, I don't like how long it took to upload pictures. Not a fan. I kept busy by watching Billy the Exterminator. This show is keeps me entertained for some reason. Okay time to sleep!

I'm starting a blog again. This time I will unfortunately be in the states so we'll see how this goes seeing as I don't have any interesting updates to post. I started again because I wanted to make a header for myself and because everyone in my family has one. So here we go!
